WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 10, 1984 – SATURDAY NOVEMBER 3, 1984
For four years, artist Stephen Pearson has worked on a project centered on the design of flying domestic structures. Over the course of the project, he designed and built numerous small, house-like frames out of basswood. From these study models, he then moved on to larger, full-scale flying constructions, some of which were even tested for flying. The exhibition at Storefront showcased several prototypes from Pearson’s Domestic Flight series.
